More than anything else…

Food and drink are tied to a sense of place and belonging. The Cafe at Chinatown Soup is inspired by Carol Goodden and Gordon Matta-Clark, pioneer artists of 1970s SoHo who recognized this synergy and opened FOOD, a social experiment that celebrated creativity and community over consumption. Collaborating with local chefs to integrate meal-centric experiences into gallery projects and support local food security initiatives on a pop-up basis furthers our mission to uplift emerging artists and cultivate nourishing connections.

We are proud to share Chinese tea culture, traditions, and history through guided tastings and meditative sessions.
