Chinatown Soup is pleased to welcome Carla Valdivia and Emilia Cuahutle of Hi-BYE for a residency at Soup Gallery. Please join us for an evening reception on Tuesday, June 20 from 6-8 pm and visit through June 25.

Hi-BYE is an independent, women-run retail shop in Mexico City specializing in Mexican fashion design. The shop opened in 2018 with the purpose of showcasing contemporary Mexican fashion designers and artists. At it's core, Hi-BYE is truly a laboratory where designers are encouraged to play around with new ideas in a space open to the public, where community sparks and grows.

Now in our fourth year, we are encouraged and excited to share our vision and mission with cities in other parts of the world that have shown us so much support. Even from miles away, New York has formed an important part of our short history and we can't wait to share!
