LOVE IS IN THE EARTH

Opening Tuesday, April 22 (Earth Day) | On view through May 17

We are delighted to present Love is in the Earth, a mystic installation shimmering with collectible works of art, courtesy of the mineral and animal kingdom alongside Soup Studio alumni. You’ll also find retro-era books and decor, Eastern antiques, and precious adornments chosen for home and spirit.

This offering is derivative of two beloved gifts: a copy of Love Is in the Earth by Melody (2008), the cult-classic crystal encyclopedia, and an inherited collection of natural stones, both passed to us by dear friends of Soup. In the spirit of our place, we’ve made good on these gestures—bringing their beauty into public view and putting the gifts of community to purposeful use.

The goal of this exhibition is simple: to put people in literal touch with natural treasures. From gleaming quartz clusters to sculptural geodes, ancient fossils to hand-wrought talismans, the installation invites visitors to experience the healing, playful, and grounding presence of the Earth itself.
